Liv Primary Account – Special Features

General

The primary account will be subject to these special features and General Terms and Conditions for Consumer Banking Products of Emirates NBD Bank (P.J.S.C) (Bank)

Eligibility

  • You are over 18 years of age with capacity to contract in accordance with the applicable laws in the UAE.
  • You have a valid Emirates ID card issued by the Emirates Identity Authority and passport
  • Your application meets the requirements of the bank’s internal policies and screening process

Single Operation

  • During the application process, your eligibility will be reviewed, post fulfilling the eligibility criteria specified for Liv primary account, a primary account will be opened.
  • Joint account or joint mandate for operation of the primary account is not permitted. Only one Liv primary account can be created for a single valid Emirates ID.

Account Statement

  • Liv customers can request for their statement of account (both physical statements and/or e-statements) via the Liv app at any time.
  • Debit Card

    Account features

    The Primary Account provides the below services to all account holders

    • Social Pay: Seamless transfers to other Liv customers through the mobile number registered with Liv using the Liv app.
    • Local Transfer: Transfers to and from bank accounts within UAE using the Liv app. The Customer will be required to provide the necessary security verifications before the transaction is submitted.
    • International Transfer: Transfers to and from bank accounts outside of UAE using the Liv app. The Customer will be required to provide the necessary security verifications before the transaction is submitted.
    • Cash withdrawals: A verified customer can withdraw via any Bank or Emirates Islamic Bank P.J.S.C ATMs, using the activated Liv debit card. Customers who withdraw cash from ATMs other than the Bank or Emirates Islamic Bank P.J.S.C ATMs may incur relevant fees imposed by the respective banks.
    • Top Up - Top up is possible using any UAE bank’s debit Card. The Customer will be required to provide the necessary security verifications before the transaction is submitted.

    Interest and fees

    • All information for interest and calculation method of interest is available on the primary account’s Key Facts Statement
    • Up-to-date interest rates are always shown in the Interest Rate schedule on the Liv app.
    • Any fees applicable to primary account or Liv debit card are set out in the Price Plan.

    Minimum Balance

    • You may be required to maintain minimum balance as may be decided by Liv from time to time. Liv reserves the right to close your account in case of irregular/improper conduct or suspected irregular/improper conduct of the account, including non-maintenance of stipulated minimum balances, etc. Click here to view the minimum balance requirements. https://liv.me/charges

    Account Closure

    • You can request to close your primary account via the Liv app.
    • If you do not have an active credit card or a loan with Liv, your request for account closure will be processed within the time mentioned on the Liv app.
