Game On Deposit Terms and Conditions

Game On Deposit campaign related Terms and Conditions:

These terms and conditions (“Promotion Terms and Conditions” or “Terms”)) govern the Game On Deposit Launch promotion (“Promotion”) by Emirates NBD Bank (P.J.S.C) (“Bank”)

In addition to the Promotion Terms and Conditions, this Promotion shall also be subject to the Bank’s General Terms and Conditions for Consumer Banking Products available on Bank’s website at Terms and Conditions | Liv Ahead – UAE’s #1 Digital Bank, as may be amended from time to time (“ENBD GTC”). If there is any conflict between these Promotion Terms and Conditions and the ENBD GTC, these Promotion Terms and Conditions shall prevail, to the extent it relates to this Promotion.

1. Promotion: In accordance with these Promotion Terms and Conditions, any eligible customer shall get rewarded with incremental interest rate on their Game On Deposit.
2. Promotion Period: The Promotion will start on 22^nd May 2024 till 28^th June 2024 (both days inclusive) (“Promotion Period”) and shall be subject to these Promotion Terms and Conditions.
3. Promotion Eligibility and Conditions:

• Liv customer(s) maintaining an active Game On Deposit Account are eligible to participate in this Promotion held in accordance with these Promotion Terms and Conditions.
• If the team selected by the customer wins the football tournament held in 2024, then the customer is eligible for 10% p.a. interest on their Game On Deposit.
• If the team selected by the customer reaches the semi-final stages of the football tournament held in 2024, then the customer is eligible for a 5% p.a. interest on their Game On Deposit.

Mechanics and Fulfilment:

• Liv will notify the winning customers at or after the end of the football tournament by sending them a notice to their registered email or contact details maintained with Liv.
• The interest will be credited to the Game on Deposit Account upon maturity of the fixed deposit.
• If a customer decides to close or withdraw and principal from the the Game On Deposit Account prior to maturity of the deposit, then no interest will be paid to the customer
• By opening a Game On Deposit Account and participating in this Promotion, the customer acknowledges that the Bank is not liable howsoever, for any harm, loss, cost or expense of any kind, including legal fees, incurred or suffered by the customer.
• Liv is entitled to change the form or amount of the prize and/or the method in which prize is awarded to the wining customer at any time at its sole discretion.
• The winning customer will bear any and all charges, costs, expenses and taxes relating to or connected with the prize, and/or the disbursement or receipt of the prize.
• Liv reserves the right to disqualify a customer at any time from the Promotion or as a winning customer at its sole discretion and without notice.
• All charges, commissions and fees are exclusive of Value Added Tax or any other similar sales tax (VAT). The customer hereby agrees to pay an amount in respect of any applicable VAT.
• These Promotion Terms and Conditions must be read in conjunction with the Game on Deposit Key Fact Statement (which shall provide the customer with the Game on Deposit Account information and indicative features about the interest, fees and charges on the Game on Deposit Account.

1. Miscellaneous:

• Prizes may be forfeited or customers holding eligible Game On Deposit Account(s) may be disqualified from participation in the Promotion, if the Bank has reasonable grounds to believe that any such customer has violated any laws or regulations applicable in the UAE or worldwide or has violated these Promotion Terms and Conditions or the ENBD GTCs
• The prize(s) featured in all printed materials and/or website of the Bank are shown for illustrative purposes only. The Bank reserves the right to change the specifications of the prizes at its sole discretion with notice to customers, subject to applicable laws/regulations.
• These Promotion Terms and Conditions are subject to change, addition or amendment, at the sole discretion of the Bank with notice to customers, in accordance with applicable laws/regulations.
• This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other promotion, campaign or offer of the Bank/Liv.
• The Bank reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to pause or amend the Promotion Period at any time without prior notice. The customers will be notified of any pause or amend of the Promotion Period through appropriate channels which may include email notifications, updates on the Bank’s website, or any other means the Bank deems suitable. All decisions relating to the Promotion shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of the Bank, which decision shall be final and conclusive.
• The Bank shall not be liable for any personal injury; any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Bank’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Bank) due to any reason beyond the control of the Bank; (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner under this Promotion; (e) use of a prize; or (f) pausing or amending the Promotion Period.
• The Bank shall not be responsible for, and makes no representation as to, the quality, suitability or merchantability of any prize. Any such issues must be settled directly with the producer and/or supplier of such prize. The Bank takes no responsibility for resolving any such disputes.
• The Bank may from time to time, display scores for the football tournament. All tournament data shall be sourced from Sportmonks B.V. and will be displayed for informational purposes only. Sportmonks B.V. holds the copyright to all tournament data displayed. The Bank shall disclaims all liability for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in the content of the football tournament. The information provided does not constitute legal, financial, or other professional advice, and should not be relied upon as such. The Bank shall not be liable for any damages or losses of any kind arising out of or in connection with the use of the tournament data or any information presented. All content provided in the football tournament is the property of the Bank unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the contents is prohibited.
• These Promotion Terms and Conditions and any dispute arising from them, including in relation to interpretation or execution, shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Applicable Emirate (as defined in the ENBD GTC). Provided that, the Bank may bring proceedings in any other jurisdiction (inside or outside the UAE) if it deems appropriate in accordance with the ENBD GTC.
