Pay a friend and split the bill

Use ‘Pay a Friend’ and ‘Split the Bill’ with your loved ones who have their own Liv. accounts! To receive or send money to other non-Liv. users, simply use ‘Local transfer’ at Wallet > Pay> Bank Transfer.

I want to pay a friend OR request for a payment

To pay a friend who has a Liv. account, go to Wallet > Pay > Pay a Friend, and follow the steps. You can either select a contact from your phone’s address book, or tap ‘Not in your contact list?’ to generate a link for sharing with your loved one through social media or email.

To request a payment from a friend with a Liv. account, go to Wallet > Request, and follow the steps. The link you send a friend will be valid for 7 calendar days. After that, you’ll need to send a new link – so encourage your friends to pay up! You’ll be notified once your friend makes the payment.

Remember, you can send or receive up to AED 10,000 each month through “Pay a friend.” If you hit the limit, simply send money using ‘Local Transfer’ at Wallet > Pay.

What is Split the Bill, and how does it work?

Split any bill easily among your friends who have Liv. accounts! Simply pay for the total bill using your Liv. card, then go to Wallet and swipe up to see ‘Your Financial Activity.’

Tap on the transaction you want to split, then tap ‘Split the bill’ and follow the steps. You’ll be notified once your friends pay their share.
